Here are some hard-to-find hardware items that many pins use.

These are perfect replacements for the Dot Matrix Display insulator covers installed on DMD equipped pins. Made of heavy fishpaper and cut to fit the back of all standard 128 x 32 Cherry, Babcock, and Vishay Dot Matrix Displays. Protects the user and the other boards from the high voltage present on a DMD. Available with or without the 3/4" hole needed for some older displays with a glass nipple protruding out the back.

These are perfect replacements for the insulator covers installed under Twilight Zone's mini playfield. Made from heavy fish paper insulator sheet, just like the original. Protects the magnets and electrical connections from damage and shorts due to pinball contact.

 Plastic Tack Glides

These are exact replacements for the glides that are usually installed on the back of machines to protect them when sitting folded in storage. Sometimes seen on the bottom of the head as well. Brown or white plastic 3/4" diameter with a nail embedded. Pack of 4.

 Flange Nuts with Integral Lockwasher 1/4-20

These are the nuts used in various places around the cabinet, usually on 1/4-20 carriage bolts. A combination of a nut and a lockwasher. Bright Zinc plated. Pack of 8.

 Side Rail Carriage Bolts 8-32 by 1"  

These are zinc plated carriage bolts that are an excellent replacement for the side rail bolts on many machines. They have a clean head with no lettering. The factory bolts were slightly longer, about 2 threads, but these will work fine.

 Black Carriage Bolts

These are black oxide finish carriage bolts that are used on many machines. They have a clean head with minimal lettering. They are used on the coin door, in the head, and some other spots where brackets are bolted to the cabinet. Available in 3 sizes, 1", 1-1/4" and 1-1/2" long. The shorter ones are common in and around the coin door, longer ones are usually in the head. Pack of 4.

 Black Screws for Backbox Lock Plate

These are black oxide finished 8-32 Phillips Head machine screws. These are handy replacements for the button Torx security screws initially used by the factory in the backbox lock plate. Pack of 4.

These are black oxide finished 1/4-20 Socket Head machine screws with the correct narrow split ring lockwashers. These are handy replacements for the Capcom flipper stop screws which often get damaged in disassembly. Pack of 4 screw and washer sets.

 Socket Head Set Screws 1/4-20

These are black oxide finished 1/4-20 Socket Head set screws with a knurled tip. These are used on many games to tighten a lever, gate, or other assembly onto a shaft. They often get rounded out or crack making it impossible to tighten. 1/4" in length with a 1/8" hex (allen) socket. Pack of 4.

 Twilight Zone Clock Board Spacer Kit

These are screw and spacer kits to replace the usually cooked and broken plastic standoffs between TZ's clock boards. The kit includes 4 screws, 4 locknuts, and 4 nylon spacers. Enough hardware to fix 1 TZ clock while maintaining the correct spacing between the boards. Also helps with intermittent connections by holding the boards in a stable orientation.

 Push Nuts for WPC-95 DMD Panel

These are exact replacements for the steel push nuts used by the factory. They're used to hold the DMD plastic panel and speaker grilles on the WPC-95 games. These nuts were never designed to be re-used and often get wrecked in disassembly. Package of 4.

These are exact replacements for the spacer washers used on the slingshot kicker arm. Made of stainless steel. Also used on the kickout lever. Replaces Williams Part # 4700-00030-00. Package of 4.

These are exact replacements for the washers used on Williams drop targets. Thin washers with a 17/64" ID and a 1/2" OD to fit in the channel molded into Williams style flat drop target assemblies. Made of stainless steel. Replaces Williams Part # 4700-00072-00. Package of 4.

These are exact replacements for the ball shooter rod washers except in stainless steel for lasting beauty. The original part is a zinc-plated mild steel and the plating wears off easily, often getting rusty from hand salts. These are reasonable replacements for the shimming washers used to adjust the height of the lightboard hinge in Wms DMD games. These are the same ID and thickness as the originals but are slightly smaller in OD. Made of stainless steel rather than zinc-plated mild steel. These are thinner versions of the standard ESNA nuts. Many times this type is used by the factory. Also useful for adding Lexan washers or plastics protectors as the thinner nut will still bite into the nylon lock area, even with a thicker plastic below it. These are the nuts shown in front of the standard sizes in the pic.  Small Machine Screws

These are used in many places in pins old and new. Two common sizes, 4-40 x 1/2" and 2-56 x 3/4". The smallest 2-56 screws are shown in the top picture, they are often used to hold switch stacks together. The set includes 2 each of a 3/4" screw, flat washer, lock washer, and hex nut. The larger 4-40 screws are shown in the bottom picture and includes 2 each of a 1/2" screw and ESNA lock nut. These can also be easily trimmed down to a shorter length with our Diagonal Cutters. Tip: When cutting screws, first thread a nut on the screw above where you're going to cut. Cut the screw to length. Then, as you remove the nut, it will straighten out the cut threads as it comes off the screw. Package of 2 sets. (Pennies not included ;)

These are used all over the underside of the playfield to mount assemblies. These are unslotted #6 screws made of stainless steel. Four common lengths, 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", and 3/4". The 5/8" and 3/4" sizes are used only where there is no danger of the screw popping up through the playfield! Usually to hold a thick bracket or part to the playfield.  Package of 8

These are self-drilling screws with a phillips head. They are 5/8" long and commonly used to hold the DMD to the plastic bezel in a WPC-95 game. Will also work for the speakers in a WPC-95 game. Package of 6

These are used to attach solid-core coils to their steel brackets. Brass screw and washer won't magnetize. Used on EM relay coils as well as modern gate coils and other assemblies with solid-core coils. 8-32 screw 3/8" long and a #8 brass washer 7/16" OD. Also includes 2 #8 split lockwashers in steel.
